Major Financial Services Company - Web-based Quote System Client Leading global financial institution serving 13 million customers.Challenge The Client wanted to replace an outdated and cumbersome system that provided insurance quotes for Life, Medical, Dental and Vision coverage. The old system was developed in Visual Basic and maintained by a third party. Because of decreasing performance and cumbersome maintenance, the Client desired a web-based application.Solution Working with business analysts to determine user requirements, NCS designed and developed a conceptual model based on the rules from the old system. This application will be coded and integrated, then sent for business and user acceptance testing.Results The new application will provide much better performance and will require less time to complete quotes. It will be accessible anywhere, and will be much easier to maintain. It will also accommodate future requirements and upgrades with minimal core changes. |
